A renowned Artist, Jerome Elaiho was born in Benin City on 6th of July 1941, where he went through his primary and secondary school, before proceeding to Lagos. He enrolled at Yaba Technical Institutes, now Yaba College of Technology, where he studied Arts and Graphic Designs and finished in 1960.
After his training, his first job was with the Nigerian Morning Post in Apapa. He joined the pioneer staff of Nigeria Television Service NTS now NTA. It was in NTS that he got a scholarship in London, from Voluntary Service Organization, VSO to study an Advanced Graphic in London at the Hornsey College of Arts and Designs. On his return, he joined an advertising company under UAC, LINTAS. as Manager Visualiser for some years. He set up his graphic design and Printing Company in Ìkeja where he made great success of it. He retired voluntarily in 2004 after over 30 years of an interesting carrier.
Jerome holds a membership of British Society of Industrial Arts and Designs. Member, Institute of Directors. Holds Fellowship of Yaba College of Technology.
