Ferdinand Agu, MFR was born in July 1960. His educational development program started at Christ School Primary School, Uwani, Enugu in 1966 in 1978 he gained admission into University of Nigeria where be bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. A throughbred gentleman who has gained enviable board room experience in the private sector and also as consultant to multinational corporations. His capacity in this field was recognized when he was appointed as Senior Special Assistant to Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a position he held between 2011-2015.

Ferdinand has numerous awards and recognitions under his belt. Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR), Award for Excellence By The Conference Of Commissioners For Commerce And Industry In Nigeria, Distinguished National Merit Award In Transportation For Outstanding Contributions To The Growth And Development Of Transport Professionalism In Nigeria By The Centre For Transport Studies, Bisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye, Nigeria, Most Outstanding Maritime Personality Of The Year (2004) Given By The 7th Maritime Media Award Of The Maritime Media Ltd, just to mention just a few.
